Nar-Anon Mission

Who we Are

We are a support group for family and friends of those suffering from addiction.  The Nar-Anon program is designed to help relatives and friends of addicts recover from the effects of living with an addicted person.

We come to find a way out of our despair and to use tools of the program to regain our lives. Nar-Anon is a spiritual program, not a religious program.  We do not advocate any particular belief system.

Preamble

The Nar-Anon Family Groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else’s addiction.

As a twelve step program — we offer our help by sharing our experience, strength, and hope. We carry the message of hope by letting others know that they are not alone; by practicing the Twelve Steps of Nar-Anon; and by changing our own attitudes. We will respect your anonymity. Our program is not a religious one, but a spiritual way of life.

• Encouraging growth through service
• Making information available through outreach encompassing public information, hospitals, institutions, and websites
• Changing our own attitudes.
